“My story, like many, has been a series of unexpected turns and profound learning experiences. Growing up in Essex, I found myself navigating a challenging transition when my family moved to Kent at 15. I was bullied at school and never felt I fitted in. The academic hurdles I faced having gained no qualifications due to moving in between years 5&6 led me to a hairdressing apprenticeship at 16, a decision that shaped the next decade of my life. I luckily thrived in the creative environment, building lasting relationships and eventually managing the salon.
However, life’s transitions continued. At 30, after a significant relationship ended and the salon underwent changes, I sought a new direction. My father’s office furniture business became a temporary haven, which, remarkably, evolved into a 22-year partnership. During this time, I built a family, marrying and raising two wonderful children. My son is currently aged 13 and my daughter aged 9. I also gained my Reiki Levels 1 & 2 during this time.
My son’s journey with Autism Spectrum Condition has been a masterclass in resilience and problem-solving. We’ve learned to embrace the daily challenges with a ‘we’ll find a solution’ mindset. Then, during the pandemic, his health took another turn, with autoimmune issues and increased anxiety. As his mother, I have naturally poured all my energy into supporting him, leading me to explore natural remedies and various therapies.
Then I discovered Belief Coding. The profound impact it had on me, even after just one session, was undeniable. I recognized how deeply ingrained, unhelpful beliefs were affecting both my son’s situation and my own. This led me to train as a Belief Coding Facilitator. I now find immense joy and purpose in helping others release those limiting beliefs and step into a brighter, more empowered future. I work in all areas but I do have a particular interest in working with families as a whole , especially when neurodiversity is a factor. So many seek help for their children, but it is when a whole family is healed from past negative experiences that transformation really happens.
And as for my son, we are making incredible progress. His communication has improved, his anxiety has lessened, he is happier at school, and his health is improving. Every day is a step forward, and I am grateful for the journey.”
